An IVF clinic in the Medical City of Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, was set up with the help of Dragon IVF International.
Initially, 4 people (andrologist, embryologist, geneticist, and gynecologist) were trained in Göttingen in all disciplines of assisted reproduction and were introduced to their future routine work. Additional training took place on site in Ashgabat.
Dragon IVF International was in charge of the planning of the IVF laboratory with cryopreservation, andrology, embryology, embryo culture and a laboratory for genetics. First, appropriate equipment and supplies were realized. Their import was done by Hospitalia International. Second, laboratory devices were then installed and optimally positioned. In parallel, the first patients were seen by the gynecologist and andrologist.
After all necessary protocols and techniques were established, the first batch of over 40 patients were treated with ICSI, IVF, TESE, cryopreservation and blastocyst culture.
To introduce this new IVF unit to the referring gynecologists, a congress with 150 attendants was held at the Ene Mahri Hospital.
